'Magruder') contains a concise account of the compelling but circumstantial evidence to identify Alexander Magruder of Maryland with the parentage shown here, based largely on the articles by Kurz / Magruder. Clagett also indicates a possible descent from King Robert III through Katherine Drummond, wife of Nicholas Campbell of Lismore.
