{"id":717,"date":"2009-12-29T21:46:30","date_gmt":"2009-12-30T01:46:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nltaylor.net\/sketchbook\/?p=717"},"modified":"2009-12-30T10:03:33","modified_gmt":"2009-12-30T14:03:33","slug":"taylor-article-out-in-tag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nltaylor.net\/sketchbook\/archives\/717","title":{"rendered":"Taylor article out in TAG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, to leave aside DNA for a moment and get back to real, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nltaylor.net\/taylor\/index.htm\"><i>paper<\/i> genealogy<\/a>, an e-mail last night told me that the first half of my article on the beginnings of our Taylor family is now out in the new issue of <a href=\"http:\/\/americangenealogist.com\/\"><i>The American Genealogist<\/i><\/a> \u2014 even though my copy hasn&#8217;t yet shown up in the mail.  The article gathers the known data on the first three generations of the family in Virginia, and lays out a new theory for the origins and parentage of the founder of the family, Richard<sup>1<\/sup> Taylor of Old Rappahannock County (subsequently Richmond County).
